House Rules
This page will lay out some simple house rules for the AIRLab office and lab. They are not here to limit anyone but rather to allow everyone to make use of everything the lab and office have to offer.
Office
- Leave the IT equipment (monitors, keyboard, mice, docks) where they are. If you really need to take one to another table for example, make sure to place it back when you are done.
- Leave the cabling on the desks as-is as much as possible.
- Keep the office clean.
- While it is encouraged to chat with each other occasionally, try not to disturb the other people working in the office.
- Never leave the office unattended when unlocked.
- When you leave the office, make sure that:
- The heat is off
- The windows are closed
- The door is locked
- Your workplace is clean
- Ahold employees, PhDs, and Chadi each have keys to the office. If you need access to the office for a longer time please contact either of the emergency contacts for a temporary key.
- Overall, the room is based on a shared space sit-where-you-like. For the permanent staff that are here most days, it’s ok to claim some tables and keep your setup on it to avoid constant re-setup.
- When having visitors, please stay with them at all times in the office.
- Don’t take anything out of the lab without permission from the lab manager.
- It is appreciated to have lunch in the canteen.
- The meeting room is free to use by anyone given that you booked it via the 'meeting room' page.
- For any complaints, request, or suggestions please contact Bassem @ bassem.zaarour@aholddelhaize.com with the subject "[LAB] insert text here" (until a better system is found).
Internet
- Guest Wifi is available.
- No torrenting or using illegal download/streaming sites.
Lab
- Please ask Bassem or Chadi if you want to borrow any tools or equipment.
- Please keep the lab clean and orderly.
